Think of a strand of pearls. The entire strand would represent the protein. The individual pearls would represent the amino acid building blocks of protein. Just as the type of pearls used would determine the type of strand of pearls, the type of amino acids used would determine the type of protein made.

Altering the amino acids used, among other things, will determine whether the protein will look like hair, skin or muscles. It will determine whether the function of the protein will be to cut things (called enzymes), tighten your skin (called collagen) or control vital processes (called hormones).
Proteins are first broken down into their amino acid basic building blocks as they pass through your digestive tract. These amino acids enter your bloodstream where they will eventually be used as follows:
| Body Part | Function | Deficiency Symptom |
| Hair |
Make hair strong and shiny. |
Dull easily broken hair. |
|
Skin |
Help skin to be tighter, |
Acne, thick skin, “cottage cheese” cellulite |
|
Muscles |
More sculptured body, |
Decreased energy and stamina. Poor muscle tone and muscle weakness. |
|
Neurotransmitters |
Once the amino acids enter the brain they are called neurotransmitters. They help the brain to communicate with itself and the rest of your body well. This enables sharp thinking and focus. Mental |
Depression, absentmindedness, forgetfulness, lack of focus, poor grades in school |
|
Hormones |
Chemical messengers |
Depression as well as decreased energy, stamina. |
|
Enzymes |
"Scissors" that cut things such as your food and intruders into smaller pieces. Enzymes also cut other enzymes to activate them. |
Poor digestion, weakened immune system and processes that do not get activated and deactivated. |
|
Immune System |
Fights off intruders and helps your body heal. |
Poor resistance to infections, catch colds easily impaired healing of wounds, slow recovery from disease |
|
Misc |
|
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), cravings for crunchy, salty foods, lack of thirst when slightly dehydrated |

There are certain amino acids that our body cannot make. These are called essential amino acids. We must get the essential amino acids from our food. A 150 pound person requires about 61.4 grams (150 lbs x 0.9=135/2.2=61.4 grams) of protein daily. In nature, amino acids are found together as they are interdependent on one another for function. Disrupting this balance can cause a relative deficiency.
All of the essential amino acids needed to make this protein can be found in most meats, dairy, beans, seafood and seaweed. Most fruits and vegetables only contain some of the essential amino acids. Most nuts (especially almonds) are rich sources of protein. Other rich sources are beans (especially soybeans), meat, fish, mixed grains, whole wheat, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, legumes, cheese, taco shells, granola bars, wheat germ, custard, pudding, wheat gluten, dark rye, soy, barley, millet, brown rice, wild rice, bee pollen, condensed sweetened milk, and yogurt. Spirulina and barley grass are excellent herbal sources.

If you need to take Youth Restorer and Amino Multi more than once a day, you may take them with or without food for the rest of the day.
Gallon: Make a gallon of lemonade using ReaLemon concentrate (directions are on the bottle) and Splenda (only if you are comfortable with using this), Stevia or Xylitol as a sweetener. Add a cup of the Youth Restorer and mix well. Before eating anything in the morning, shake well and pour 8 oz of the lemonade mixture and take 4 Amino Multiple capsules along with any other supplements you want to take at that time.
