Metal toxicity displays itself in each individual differently and comes from many sources. Signs and symptoms of heavy metal exposure will vary in nature and intensity depending on the type and quantity of metal involved. Early symptoms of toxicity can be missed because they are often non-specific. Excessive exposure and damage to several different organs can occur even if you have no, few, or nonspecific symptoms. Some signs and symptoms of metal toxicity may include:
Mercury can cause intermittent paralysis in some individuals. Arsenic disrupts thyroid-mediated gene regulation, and may be a cause of diabetes, as well as obesity. Molybdenum can inhibit the liver enzymes leading to a yellow coloring of the skin.
A heavy metals panel may be ordered if your doctor suspects that you have been exposed to one or more heavy metals. However metal toxicity is often over looked because sources of exposure are not widely known or mentioned when one goes to see a physician.
With the dermal chelation in the picture to the left. This process is also called ion cleanse or foot baths. At Optimum Health, we call it total body detoxification.
The primary sources of the heavy metal toxicity that we at Optimum Health tend to see are given below.

Mercury Spreads Through the Body Within 2 Weeks:
The International Academy of Oral Medicine presents physical evidence of the release of mercury vapors from a 25 year old amalgam filling. Also presented is the overview of scientific data confirming the distribution of the mercury to vital organs of the body.

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary present definitive facts indicating that dental mercury damages brain neurons.
"...nearly all fish and shellfish contain traces of mercury. For most people, the risk from mercury by eating fish and shellfish is not a health concern. Yet, some fish and shellfish contain higher levels of mercury that may harm an unborn baby or young child's developing nervous system. The risks from mercury in fish and shellfish depend on the amount of fish and shellfish eaten and the levels of mercury in the fish and shellfish. Therefore, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are advising women who may become pregnant, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and young children to avoid some types of fish and eat fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury." (See full article.)
Obviously, the FDA is acknowledging the dangers to unborn babies and young children for amounts of mercury that are SLIGHTLY higher than trace amounts found in some fish. According to the World Health organization dental fillings are a larger source of mercury exposure to humans than all other sources combined. Therefore, it only stand to reason that the exposure from "silver fillings", are harmful to unborn babies or young children.

At Optimum Health we use chlorella and the Aqua Detox medically approved equipment to allow your body to remove these harmful metals. Our clients say they feel lighter and vibrant. They begin to loose the hardened aged look that toxic loads can cause. Many begin to lose large amounts of unwanted fat that had accumulated to store the metals.
