Marilyn graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida with a Masters Degree of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Professional Health Sciences. She continued her studies as an intern with the renowned Dr. Hongjian He of China. While studying and treating patients at the PLA General Hospital in Beijing (the largest facility in China) she perfected a back and pain treatment that she currently uses exclusively in her own practice. Some of her specialties are neck and back pain as well as women's breast health and thermal imaging. Marilyn is currently a board member of the ASVA (Acupuncture Society of Virginia).
